Is available with either 2 bottles of Matsu Picaro, 1 bottle Matsu Picaro and 1 bottle Matsu Recio or 2 bottles Recio.
Matsu El Recio
- Varieties 100% Tinta de Toro
- Ageing 14 months in second use French oak barrels
- Harvest Manual harvest that is undergone the first 15 days of the month of October.
- Vineyard Selection of 90 to100 year old vines of extremely limited production, naturally cultivated following the biodynamic techniques.
- Winemaking Fermentation and maceration for 3 weeks in reinforced concrete deposits of 15,000 kg. Malolatic fermentation in the same vats. This wine has not been filtered and is clarified without utilizing aggressive processes.
- Alcohol content 14,5% Vol
Tasting notes
- Colour Rubi red colour.
- Nose Notes of chocolate, black fruits and vanilla. Intense.
- Palate Round and silky. Touches of fruits linger in the after taste as do mineral notes. Full body wine, yet at the same time very easy to drink.
Matsu El Pícaro
- Varieties 100% Tinta de Toro
- Harvest Manual harvest during the first fifteen days of October and transported to the winery in small crates.
- Vineyard Selection of 50 to 70 year old vineyards of limited production situated in poor soil and cultivated using the biodynamic techniques.
- Winemaking Fermentation in concrete vats with a 15,000 kg, temperature controlled to avoid surpassing 24ºC. Malolactic fermentation in the same vats. This wine has not been filtered nor clarified using aggressive methods to preserve its natural characteristics.
- Alcohol content 14,5% Vol
Tasting notes
- Colour Great robe and a profound color, an expression of its young age.
- Nose Intense aroma, dark fruits such as blackberries and blueberries, mineral notes also appear, creating this fresh wine with complexity.
- Palate Fruitful sensations, perceived as a wine with body; pleasant liquorice sensations, contributed by the maturity of the grapes from which this wine is made.
